I’m Matt, CEO at SheCodes.
I’m excited to present this project we've been thinking about since starting SheCodes.
The aim is to offer SheCodes workshops at no cost to women living in select developing countries who are facing serious financial and educational challenges.
When I started SheCodes, it was a non-profit. During our past onsite workshops, I always mentioned that my ultimate goal for SheCodes was to open a school providing free education. I’m happy to turn this initial idea into a reality.
This is the beginning of something that will hopefully have an impact on many women.
The Foundation will be financed entirely by SheCodes Workshops, 10% of profits will be used to offer support to more women around the world. If you want to contribute, feel free to purchase SheCodes Workshops for yourself, friends, or family members.
SheCodes will remain paid, yet affordable in developed countries so we can keep offering quality training while expanding globally.
Thanks so much for being part of SheCodes. Together, we’re making an impact.
Just finished my basic workshop and I just have to say WOW. I have always been afraid of learning coding because I thought it was a complicated thing but after watching first week lessons, I actually got really interested in spending time to learn coding and I love how simple Matt teaches the lessons. Thanks Matt. Thanks SheCodes team.
If I could put into words the three weeks I spent on SheCodes basics. These would be: Incredible, challenging and super fun. Even now, when I look back at all my previous homework and projects, I feel so victorious because it was inconceivable a month ago. Anyway, thanks to SheCodes team for this amazing workshop and a special nod to Matt and Lexi. And not least, If I can describe this workshop, it will be: well structured, excellent mentoring, and amazing support
SheCodes makes learning so simple and fun. The method is so interesting and Matt teaches everything in the simplest way! I couldn't believe that I can write even simple codes! I am really eager to learn more. Thanks a lot to the SheCodes team😊

The organization of the materials is very well-thought and the overall content, truly useful. SheCodes made me fall in love with coding, and I cannot wait to learn more!”
Lavinia Chrystal, SheCodes Alumni
“Amazing workshop! Matt is an excellent teacher and this was exactly what I was looking for: a combination of hands-on exercises and easy-to-understand teaching. The 3-week course is the perfect introduction to coding. I am a UX designer by trade, so this was a great start to my journey of implementing my own designs. I would absolutely recommend to anyone in design.”
