Andresha's Story I came across a random video on tiktok where a young lady mentioned venturing into coding by chance and discovering a love for it and also the freedom, flexibility and financial stability it affords her. My children are my first priority always. Giving them the best quality of life means being able to afford to take of all their needs. Learning coding will give me another way to earn another source of income. Plus I want to be a tech girl

🙋‍♀️ Andresha's Motivation

my motivation is to add another skill to my resume, I thought about a tech job in the past but thought it was something I couldn't do because I'm not good at math. I came across a video recently that said otherwise and mentioned shecodes and now here I am!

🤹‍♀️ Andresha's Hobbies

I like to read a lot of fantasy fiction, fictional crime novels, watch movies and try new restaurants with my friends.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
