Apolonia 's Story My interest in coding was sparked by a desire to overcome gender stereotypes and pursue a field that was traditionally seen as male-dominated. Since primary school I have learned that women are encouraged to do Home Ecology and Agriculture whereas males are encouraged to study Computer studies and Design and Technology. Many girls and women have encountered similar challenges in accessing computer education, I aspire too be an inspiration to females for breaking down those barriers and showing that everyone can succeed in the world of coding.
