Ganiyat's Story I've known about it since my final days in high school, I didn't pay much attention to it then as I didn't have access to the Internet. Now that I do, I'm interested I want to acquire as much skills and practice them. I hope I'm considered for this training. I may study computer science in the university when I'm ready, taking this course will give me an idea of what I will do in the university

🙋‍♀️ Ganiyat's Motivation

I want to be able to teach and encourage young girls to take up courses on technology

I watch movies, dance, watch YouTube videos on how to sew. I'd love to travel around the world someday

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
