Maral's Story Back to 17 or 18, I found it really practical to learn to code, but my path of education and studying lead me to some other fields. Also, I had friends who were learning it. and now because of them and my early enthusiasm, I've decided to start it over from the beginning and seriously. Plus for continuing my study in fields related to programming and coding.

🙋‍♀️ Maral's Motivation

Firstly, it impressed me that it is a foundation for women and how it cares about the equality of education. As a person who is living in a third-world country, I could totally understand this gap between us and the men. So that would be a great opportunity for me to take part in such courses without being worry about my gender and the competition caused by it.

🤹‍♀️ Maral's Hobbies

I do photography and sometimes night sky photography. I am a nature lover and do love Whales...I love reading about them and watching videos about them. I'm a big fan of watching movies, Also Listening to music is one of the preferable activities, Plus, I play Cello and sometimes I read novels.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
