Meli Tchouala's Story I remember this one time I attended a live webinar. During this session one of the trainers was doing a live coding session and the way they is easily spot out an error and modify it, the speed at which they did the corrections was amazing. From that day on I swore I would one day be able to do that as well. This event happened 2 years ago and ever since that I have been hooked on coding.

🙋‍♀️ Meli Tchouala's Motivation

I find it difficult having access to real coding training sites as I'm unable to afford most of the ones I find but I really do love coding. When I heard about that SheCodes foundation from Sara from SheCodes, I was really amazed because this is the opportunity I've been looking, to get trained by experts and in the course of it get a certificate to prove that I can actually do what I've been taught to know.

🤹‍♀️ Meli Tchouala's Hobbies

I love teaching, I also love singing and I'm most of all passionate about writing

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
