Miuwa's Story One time I was researching about some stuff online and I discovered ALX .Its how my interest in software engineering started .So I started researching all about it and how great it would be if I had all those skills but most of all I got an interest in coding .I saw much I could do with it. First of all its an interesting course to learn. You get to meet new people. You acquire skills you could use on all websites even knowing how our own google works .From then my passion to learn how to code keeps elevating and I wish one day I am a great coder.

🙋‍♀️ Miuwa's Motivation

The fact that I get 60 free minutes class at the start of my journey that only motivated me because I got a clear picture of everything just at the beginning and I knew I didn't want to stop there. The other thing is how a code instructor keeps track of you. There are quizzes and tests. There are workshops. And more there are so many females aiming at the same goal. Whats more motivating than having a group of females chasing the same dream .With Shecodes you can achieve this with no doubt.

🤹‍♀️ Miuwa's Hobbies

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
