Nneka Krystyna's Story Working in a tech space inspired me. I get to do some admin duties at the office and thus, have to relay back and forth to different units. Not understanding some tech terms frustrated this flow and enhanced my interest to go beyond just being interested to actually coding

🙋‍♀️ Nneka Krystyna's Motivation

I'm a girl who studied arts in school but landed a job as an animator in a tech company. Working closely with developers, product managers and designers has opened my eyes to the world of tech and its relevance to today's world. I've been interested for a while but do not really know where to start. SheCodes feels like a good starting point.

🤹‍♀️ Nneka Krystyna's Hobbies

I love to read novels. I love to watch people dance. I love writing random stuffs. I love beautiful spaces. I enjoy visiting the musuem

🎯

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
