Rachel's Story I became interested in coding through the sheer power of problem-solving and creativity that it offers. Coding allows people to build and create almost anything from scratch—whether it’s automating tasks, developing websites, or building apps. It’s a tool that gives you the ability to bring ideas to life. The logical thinking, the constant learning, and the satisfaction of finding solutions to complex problems are what really drew me in. Plus, seeing how coding can shape the future of technology made me curious to dive deeper into the field.
I’ve always been intrigued by technology and problem-solving. Learning to code feels like a powerful way to channel that curiosity and creativity. SheCodes stands out because it offers a supportive and accessible way to get into coding, especially for women. I’m excited to develop skills that will allow me to create digital solutions and enhance my understanding of tech. Whether it’s for personal projects, career growth, or simply to broaden my horizons, learning to code is an exciting opportunity to push my limits and enter a dynamic, fast-evolving field.
In my free time, I enjoy a mix of creative and relaxing activities. I love spending time coding and experimenting with new programming languages or frameworks, as it’s both challenging and rewarding to see projects come to life. When I’m not coding, I enjoy reading books on various topics, whether it’s technology, science fiction, or self-development. I also like staying active, whether it’s through hiking, running, or practicing yoga. Exploring new places, trying out different cuisines, and spending quality time with friends and family are things that bring me joy as well.
