Reyhaneh's Story I have always been interested in computers, technology and coding and my major was also coding in high school. It is an expensive major to study at university and I could not afford it so I had to choose a cheaper major to continue at university against my will.

🙋‍♀️ Reyhaneh's Motivation

As a young adult female in a developing country, I don't have much job opportunities comparing to men. I am looking forward to learn how to code specially since it is one of my favorite majors and I believe after learning it, I will find much more job opportunities.

🤹‍♀️ Reyhaneh's Hobbies

I really enjoy reading books in my free time and I also watch lots of movies because it is fun and also I want to improve my English skills everyday. I watch lots of videos about technology and other topics on YouTube and I try to learn something new each day.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
