Rozhin's Story Currently I'm an undergraduate psychology student and I intend to pursue a doctorate on the same field so I won't be able to have a proper fulltime job related to my degree until then. Programming seems to be a pretty good option for a student, it can be part time, remote and well-paid. These series of courses play a fundamental role in my chances of getting a job as a programmer. Besides as a student who mostly study Human brain and its functions, I’ve always found AI very fascinating and hoped to learn more about it. AI is the endeavor to replicate or simulate human intelligence in machines so I believe there is still much to reach in neuropsychology-AI relation. As I would like to do researches on this relation, attending this course will defiantly give me a comprehensive, conceptual and Interdisciplinary look. There is no doubt taking this course will help me achieve both my career and scientific goals.

🙋‍♀️ Rozhin's Motivation

My name is Rozhin Panahi zangeneh. I am an undergraduate psychology student, from Kharazmi University, Tehran, Iran. I am applying for the shecode courses but unfortunately I come from a middle-class Iranian family, and my father is the only breadwinner in the family. Presently, I am a full time student and I don’t have a job. The money my family gives me barely meets my basic needs, making the chance of funding the course myself impossible. Actually the main reason I want to take this course is to learn a skill that I can make money out of it and take myself out of the financial crisis I’m in. Besides I’ve always wanted to acquire skill in computer sciences, as a field that I didn't have much affordable learning materials for it so it's killing two birds with one stone. Thank you for taking your time to consider my request.

🤹‍♀️ Rozhin's Hobbies

I do enjoy reading books, exercise and watching movies.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
