Winda's Story My brother codes, he made this software to help his company. I was amazed as how numbers could become something so complex and functional. Like how?? I don’t understand anything as I don’t have the basic knowledge of it. The concept is so foreign to me

🙋‍♀️ Winda's Motivation

So I just learnt how to design UI. I feel like if I understand coding and programming, I could maybe develop my own app. Also, nowadays here companies mostly looking for someone who understand UI/UX. I feel like it would boost my chances to find a job. My friend recommend SheCodes, she has good progress in coding. I wanted to be like that and better

🤹‍♀️ Winda's Hobbies

I like to draw and play games, I played ukulele and kalimba, I read sometimes. Or play with my cats. I’m mostly interested in listening to horror or true crime podcast

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
