Michelle Genevieve's Story I started to become interested when I was in collegue. I was that girl that was using a lot of time the computer just to try new things out like learning new and more technology stuffs when I was younger. Then when I graduated from collegue, I decided that this was my thing (coding), then I became passionate about technology.

🙋‍♀️ Michelle Genevieve's Motivation

I plan to acquire additional skills by taking related classes and continuing my participation in a variety of professional trainings to become a person who can teach others my knowledge in software development as such, but also in other technological fields that I want to learn in the future, to to be able to support people in the same way as Matt does with shecodes foundation, since I would not want people to go through the same situations as me in seeking professional training and that nobody wants to bet on you that you can achieve a lot of knowledge by empowering yourself of the same. It is for this reason that I am interested in shecodes, and to be one more testimony.

🤹‍♀️ Michelle Genevieve's Hobbies

* Writing books * Discovering new Christian music * Reading books * Learning lyrics of a new song (I can sing)

🎯

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
