ambole's Story
Through the founder of the UBUNTU CONNECTION, Vicki Poole, i came to know about the she code program, its objectives, its aims, visions, and what it is doing to improve the lives of women. For example, providing women with opportunities to learn how to code for free, a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management. Coding knowledge will help me create new job opportunities, it will improve my analytical thinking and also enhance my personal or professional skills set. She code training is offered freely at no cost. With a new career opportunities,It will make me a more marketable employee in our increasingly technological job market. I will be able to attend coding workshops for women where i will be in a position to acquire more knowledge , new skills and interact freely. Through coding, i will be able to get connected with other women across various fields. Connecting with other women will help me learn new skills world wide who are also interested in coding. I also learned about she code from Willis, who is a member of Emuhaya Group of the Disabled. He told me that the program is free and very useful and informative. This gave me the motivation to apply and get empowered together with other women. I would like to improve my skill in various areas. Coding is an important skill that is needed across various markets hence it motivated me to learn it. Wanting to connect with other women across various countries is also another reason why i was interested to learn coding with she codes.
