layali's Story when was a kid I've watched many movies and always there was that guy or that girl set in front of a computer and kept writing codes only them can understand it that time I wanted to know how that magic works? I want to be in the technology domain but I never know how to be in it until there years ago. When I became in high school we started to learn computer science one hour a week, but I felt that wasn't enough at all. so last year I decided to be a computer science student I enjoyed it so much however the course wasn't enough because the information are not always updated. every day my passion gets stronger I enjoy seeing things not the same way people could see it, most of my friends keep asking me how do you understand coding it's hard there is no future in your specialty and those words always make me motivated. I want to prove to everyone and especially to myself that I can do it and nothing in this life is hard at the same time nothing is easy I need to work to reach what I want, negative vibes from people making me believe every day in my decision that what I did was the best thing and I don't regret.

🙋‍♀️ layali's Motivation

when I heard about Shecodes it was on youtube, at first I was about skipping the add then I said let me see it first maybe it will be helpful and the truth I don't regret it at all. The way of teaching and the Methodology is really fun and makes the information look easier than I thought also the positive vibes made me believe that I can be who I want to be. the fact of opening Shecodes's website makes you want to discover more and more. one of most things that makes me want to attend the classes so much is if I had a problem in coding I can get help because sometimes I get stuck while coding and I can't understand the problem. also, most of coding programs are available.

🤹‍♀️ layali's Hobbies

I am a rower, so every weekend I go to the gym to train that makes me reduce my stress or sometimes enjoy running. to the ways of entraining myself, it depends on my mood if I am bored I call my friends and go to eat something together or invite them next to me to watch movies or talk or play. and when I want to stay alone just me myself and I put something to watch and eat but my best way to have fun is to put on my earphones and keep singing so loud and dancing until I feel fine

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
