Aina's Story I have always wanted to do something in tech like a woman stem kind of thing and I did not know how to go on about it or what websites to use. All of a sudden, my for you page on TikTok was so full of different coding programmers and she codes was one of them. The other coding applications are asking for a fee which I do not have to pay because I am a student. Eventually after learning about the, she code foundation and learned that it is free I decided to give it a try. As someone interested in coding, my journey began with curiosity and a desire to understand how computers work and how I could create things with them. I was fascinated by the idea of translating thoughts and ideas into instructions that a machine could execute. This curiosity led me to explore various programming languages, online tutorials, and coding challenges. Over time, I discovered the immense creative potential of coding. I realized that with programming, I could build websites, develop apps, analyze data, and automate tasks.

I want to be a woman in stem and learn more about coding to improve my career prospective and have a wider range of job opportunities in different tech fields. To improve my computational thinking. Another motivation is that I want to explore my creative side and create applications that will make it easy for woman in developing countries to use for better services especially business wise. Lastly, what is motivating me to learn coding with She Codes it is because it will help me with problem solving from many perspectives and generating several possible questions. Lastly, I want a better and financially stable life for myself and my family.

I love reading novels, writing articles about different topics that affect women nowadays. I love swimming and cooking for my loved ones. What I for fun is going out with friends and exploring. Travelling and doing all the fun activities.

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
