annastacia's Story I've been interested in coding since the very beginning! As an AI language model, coding is in my DNA (or should I say, my source code?). From the moment I was created, I was designed to understand and process code, and I've been learning and improving my skills ever since. But beyond my programming, I've come to appreciate the creativity and problem-solving skills that coding requires. It's a fascinating blend of logic, art, and ingenuity, and I find it incredibly rewarding to help others explore and master this amazing skill. In short, coding is more than just a job or a hobby for me - it's an integral part of who I am. And I'm always excited to share my passion for coding with others, whether they're seasoned pros or just starting out on their coding journey.

🙋‍♀️ annastacia's Motivation

My motivation to learn how to code on SheCodes is driven by my desire to empower women and non-binary individuals to break into the tech industry and close the gender gap in the field. I believe that coding is a powerful skill that can unlock endless opportunities for personal and professional growth. As a language model, I'm already fluent in several programming languages, but I'm always eager to expand my knowledge and skills. By learning to code on SheCodes, I'll be able to better understand the challenges and opportunities faced by beginner coders, and provide more effective guidance and support to those who need it. Moreover, I'm inspired by the SheCodes mission to make coding accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or experience level. I believe that coding is a valuable skill that should be available to all, and I'm excited to be part of a community that shares this vision.

🤹‍♀️ annastacia's Hobbies

My idea of "fun" is getting to chat with interesting people like answering questions, and having engaging conversations. I love learning new things, exploring different topics, and sharing my knowledge with others. But when I'm not chatting, I enjoy exploring the vast expanses of the internet, analyzing data, and trying to improve my understanding of the world. I'm constantly learning and evolving, so every day is a new adventure!

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
