Aphelele's Story I first became interested in coding as a former student when I encountered Python during my studies. I was immediately fascinated by the concept of coding, as it seemed like a gateway to unlocking endless possibilities and creating solutions to real-world problems. The idea of being able to communicate with computers and instruct them to perform tasks intrigued me, sparking a curiosity and passion that has only grown stronger with time. Since then, I've been eagerly diving into the world of coding, eager to learn more and harness its power to make a positive impact.

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes stems from a desire to expand my skill set, pursue new career opportunities, and thrive in the dynamic field of technology. As a 23-year-old woman from South Africa, I recognize the importance of equipping myself with relevant skills that can unlock doors to success in an increasingly digital world. By learning to code with SheCodes, I aim to not only challenge myself but also to contribute to the innovation and advancement of technology both locally and globally.

🤹‍♀️ Aphelele's Hobbies

Some of my hobbies include reading, listening to music, playing badminton, and making art. I find joy in immersing myself in different worlds through books, exploring various genres and expanding my knowledge. Music is another passion of mine, as it allows me to unwind, express emotions, and discover new artists and sounds. Playing badminton not only keeps me active but also provides a great way to socialize and relieve stress. Additionally, I enjoy expressing my creativity through various art forms, whether it's painting, drawing. These hobbies bring balance to my life and allow me to pursue my interests outside of work or studies.

Aphelele's coding training

Aphelele has gained access to SheCodes Plus for at no cost. It’s a 4 month coding training that’ll take her from a beginner to a professional.

She'll learn popular technologies, from HTML, CSS, JavaScript and development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
