April San 's Story No one gives any introduction about coding. Through self-study, I learned that it is an essential skill in an age where technology is advancing, so I want to learn it. I am interested because it is a science that can create an income stream and benefit my local area.

🙋‍♀️ April San 's Motivation

The area I live in is an underdeveloped area. No one told me about coding. While using social media, I learned how important coding and programming are in the age of technology. No one explained this topic, but I wanted to attend the course because of my own curiosity. I believe that if I had the opportunity to attend this course, I would be able to improve my skills and create an income stream. I believe that it can be more beneficial for the family and for the youth in the region. And I want to share coding and programming skills with the youth in my area. I also want to be a business woman. And I want to work in regional development activities with the skills I have acquired. This is why I am motivated to attend.

🤹‍♀️ April San 's Hobbies

My hobbies are photography, editing and going on adventure trips. I enjoy reading, listening to music, and volunteering for charities.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
