Audrey 's Story I became interested in coding when I started using computers and the internet more regularly. I was fascinated by how these systems worked and wanted to understand them better. So, I decided to learn more about coding and how it can be used to create websites, apps, and other digital products. Now, I'm even more interested in coding because I see how it can be used to solve problems and improve the world we live in.

I'm motivated to learn to code with SheCodes because I believe it will provide me with new opportunities for growth and success. Coding is an important skill in today's world, and I know that learning it will open doors for me in the future. I'm excited to work with SheCodes to achieve my goals and improve my skills. My goal is to use my coding skills to create innovative and useful products. I am particularly interested in using my skills to help solve problems in the areas of healthcare, education, and sustainability. With SheCodes, I believe I can gain the skills and knowledge I need to achieve my goals.

Audrey has gained access to SheCodes Plus for at no cost. It’s a 4 month coding training that’ll take her from a beginner to a professional.

She'll learn popular technologies, from HTML, CSS, JavaScript and development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

2. Basics Add-on (1 week)
3. Plus Coding Workshop (8 weeks)
4. Plus Add-on (2 weeks)

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.
