Caroline Varaidzo's Story I have come across coding on social media, but it was for children. I tried to enrol my child, but I myself didn't understand it, so it was hard to motivate my child. It then got introduced at my child's school, but had little support it became a dead hose. I would like to learn so that I can be able to speak about it to other women and encourage them to learn as well. I would love to be an inspiration to others in the sphere of my control and beyond.

🙋‍♀️ Caroline Varaidzo's Motivation

I wish to be knowledgeable on coding and I am hoping it will improve my personal skills as well as job skills. I wish to be able to assist my children in this growing technological era, as I am far behind as far as technology is concerned. I hope to improve my analytical skills at work as well as anywhere it might be needed.

🤹‍♀️ Caroline Varaidzo's Hobbies

I love gaming, I love reading, I love doing this with family. I love creating new ideas and learning new stuff. I love to analyse and solve problems the best way I can.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
