Danai's Story I started computer studies in high school and I completed my IGSCE and went on to do computer science at Advanced Level and also attained a Cambridge certificate. I further completed by Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems Hons, with Africa University. I am eager to keep learning because the world in tech keeps advancing. Currently I am working at a startup in Zimbabwe which focuses on developing systems which are making significant changes in the business world. I would love to sharpen my skills so that I can contribute more to the development of these systems.

🙋‍♀️ Danai's Motivation

I believe that learning from the best will also make me the best in the area. In Zimbabwe, coding has been a male dominated industry and I would like more women to be involved in technology.

🤹‍♀️ Danai's Hobbies

For fun I enjoy singing, writing songs and cooking. I am also an upcoming content/digital creator on social media.

🎯

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
