Eugenea's Story My interest in coding stemmed from a combination of curiosity, exposure to technology, and a desire to create and problem-solve. As I interacted more with computers and technology in my daily life, I became fascinated by the idea that I could use programming languages to instruct computers to perform specific tasks and bring ideas to life in the digital world.

Beyond its technical intricacies, coding symbolizes a journey of self-discovery and growth. It's about embracing the unknown, pushing boundaries, and finding beauty in learning and evolution. With each project and challenge, I grow stronger, more resilient, and more confident in my abilities. Moreover, coding is profoundly personal as it allows me to merge my passions with purpose. Whether it's developing applications for underserved communities or leveraging technology for positive change, coding empowers me to turn aspirations into reality. I have several hobbies that complement and enrich my journey in the tech world. I am an avid reader of technology blogs and forums and also enjoy participating in coding-related community events. I do enjoy exploring the world of nature and music. Overall, my hobbies revolve around my passion for coding and technology, driving me to constantly learn and grow.

Eugenea's coding training

She'll learn popular technologies, from HTML, CSS, JavaScript and development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
