fahima's Story I secured a seat in Computer Engineering after successfully passing the National Examination. Unfortunately, the academic situation was not suitable for me to continue. As it was desirable field for me, since then I have been interested and following up trends and news in this field. I consider SheCodes a golden opportunity life has given me.

Through my education and professional employment careers, I have come to know that coding is a must learning skill to succeed in life. Besides it’s an important profession that runs and provides todays complicated and advanced technologies and software. As someone who believes education and experience makes the difference, I have developed my skills and enhanced my knowledge in various fields. It’s my profound believe that I have successfully achieved and completed the tasks in accordance to the organization’s vision and mission through my period of working for any company/organization. It’s certain that working in a disciplined and careful manner will fruit only success. To deliver more creatively, to be effective and productive, and to enthusiastically accomplish the tasks and responsibilities my position requires, it drives me to start learning with SheCodes. For these reasons, I think I can contribute more to my skills and work discipline with SheCodes.

Honoré de Balzac wrote: ‘’A hobby is a happy medium between passion and monomania.’’ In my spare time, I love painting, listening to music, walking, taking photographs, writing poems, essays and stories for children. For me, reading books and articles is more than just a hobby, it is another kind of life itself.

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
