Faridat's Story I am a fan of Alux on YouTube and one of the skill often talked about as being profitable in the long run as part of self development is programming. In addition, I had a guy friend of mine who said coding isn't for ladies, and that is is too difficult and time consuming for me to learn. I am uninterested in proving him wrong, but I wanted to do the impossible, and the challenging thing and this is right for me. Sooner or later, I had to be proficient in one tech skill or the other, and coding is my choice because of the unlimited problems I can solve with it, including the opportunities.

🙋‍♀️ Faridat's Motivation

I am fascinated by the world of Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning and Robotics. I want to create and innovate sustainable solutions in the health sector. Coding is like the beginning to that journey.

🤹‍♀️ Faridat's Hobbies

I love reading books; from leadership books by John Maxwell to lifestyle books by Robin Sharma. I loves learning about new things, geography and the space, beautiful artworks, and places. I'm a lover of nature, and I also loves listening to music, writing poems and dancing.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
