Fatema's Story My fascination with coding began during my childhood, sparked by the captivating world of computers and the endless possibilities they held. I would spend hours exploring my father's old computer, mesmerized by its ability to store, process, and create information. This curiosity grew into a passion, and I sought every opportunity to learn more about the language of computers โ€“ coding. Despite the societal norms that often discouraged girls from pursuing STEM fields, I remained determined to master this powerful language. I embarked on a journey of self-learning, poring over online tutorials, watching YouTube videos, and seeking guidance from my brother, who shared his knowledge and expertise.

๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ Fatema's Motivation

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes stems from a deep desire to empower myself and contribute positively to my community. As an Afghan girl growing up in a society that often limits opportunities for women, I believe that coding can serve as a powerful tool for breaking down barriers and creating a more equitable future. I envision myself using my coding skills to develop innovative solutions that address real-world challenges faced by Afghan women and girls. I dream of creating educational platforms that make learning accessible to all, building healthcare applications that improve access to medical services, and designing communication tools that bridge cultural divides.

๐Ÿคนโ€โ™€๏ธ Fatema's Hobbies

Beyond coding, I find joy in a variety of hobbies that allow me to express my creativity and explore new avenues of knowledge. I enjoy writing short stories and poems, finding solace in the power of words to evoke emotions and transport readers to different worlds. I also have a passion for music, particularly playing the piano and guitar. The melodies and harmonies of music serve as a source of inspiration and relaxation, allowing me to express my emotions and connect with the world around me.
