Folashade 's Story I became more interested in coding when I realized the world is venturing more day by day into becoming a tech world. I have always love coding since I was in secondary school and I've always been longing to learn more about coding ever since I started learning. I began my journey into Programming in 2022 by becoming a student on one of the web applications of programming called Ustacky and ever since, I've been consistent in making sure I move day by day in my learning journey.

🙋‍♀️ Folashade 's Motivation

I love coding and I want to improve my coding skills so as to be a solution creator to the world. The world is moving day by day and it is becoming a techie world, of course, one won't be love to be left out and start feeling dejected that oh, I could have learnt this some years ago... I have always love to be a programmer, thereby instructing the computer to run errands for me and bring a solution to some major global problems. These have been my motivations all along.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
