Janet 's Story I became interested in coding when I realised the impact it has on people's life and the many more important things it can be used for which does not only benefit those who make it but those who use it as well, coding in my sense is a substantial act that governs the phenomenon that surrounds programming and I find that very intriguing which has given rise to my outmost desire to persue it.

🙋‍♀️ Janet 's Motivation

I want to abridge the gap that is set between men and women when it comes to the tech world, to become a sufficient and prominent programmer,to influence the next generation of prolific female programmers and to facilitate the new big thing that will impact the lives of people around the globe greatly as far as technology is in use.

🤹‍♀️ Janet 's Hobbies

I love coding, reading, watching movies, listening to music and shopping

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
