Macholo's Story I have a brother who is studying Computer Science. He always emgages with me about recent updates in the tech industry and all the practicals they do and he is into software development or web development. It was through our engagements i developed great interest towards the tech industry and i have innovative ideas which require me to atleast grasp the language of computers.

I've heard that women are often underrepresented in the tech industry, so I believe this course will give me the skills and knowledge I need to succeed. I am excited to learn more about software development and design thinking, and I hope to use my new skills to create products that are both innovative and appropriate for users. My goal is to make a positive impact on the computer user experience through my work.

My hobbies include me behind the computer screen busy creating poster or motivational notes. Reading the Bible can be something include as a hobby as well since I do it everyday at 21:00.

Macholo's coding training

Macholo has gained access to SheCodes Plus for at no cost. It’s a 4 month coding training that’ll take her from a beginner to a professional.

She'll learn popular technologies, from HTML, CSS, JavaScript and development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
