Matlakala Leah's Story
To be honest, I stumbled into coding quite unexpectedly when I decided to customize my WordPress website for my personal blog. At the time, I had zero knowledge of HTML and CSS, but I was determined to make my website reflect my style. So, I embarked on an internet deep dive to find resources and tutorials that could help me learn the basics.
It was a steep learning curve, but I was motivated by the idea of making my website truly my own. I started with the most basic tutorials, learning how to make simple changes like adjusting text size and color. With each small victory, I gained confidence and began exploring more advanced techniques.
Through trial and error, and with the help of online communities and forums, I gradually started to understand how HTML and CSS worked together to create the web pages I envisioned. I learned how to structure content and style elements.
Looking back, it's incredible to see how far I've come from that initial point of not knowing anything about coding. While I may still have a lot to learn, I'm proud of the progress I've made and excited to continue honing my skills. My journey into coding may have started as a way to customize my website, but it has turned into a passion that I'm eager to explore further.
Through this journey, I've come to appreciate the beauty of coding and its ability to empower individuals to bring their ideas to life in the digital world.
