Matsolo's Story As an engineer, most of my assignments and projects involved coding, so I had to learn how to code to complete my tasks. It is a very interesting skill to learn. It is also a very profitable skill to learn, as there are many jobs available for people who can code.

🙋‍♀️ Matsolo's Motivation

I have always wanted to learn how to code and improve my skills as a female engineer. Most platforms I used in the past were paid for, so I could not do much because of the expensive fees. When I heard that SheCodes teaches coding for free, I decided to jump on the opportunity.

🤹‍♀️ Matsolo's Hobbies

My greatest hobby is traveling. It has always been my passion to explore new places and go on different adventures. I also enjoy listening to different genres of music.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
