Nana's Story First I became interested in coding was when I did my bachelors thesis. I did an architectural project using algorithms to create a pattern on the facade of the building. Few years later, when I started to work as a UI/UX designer in the company develops fintech applications and websites I again became interested in code again because I became interested in how applications work and also how as a designer I can create beautiful animation using code.

🙋‍♀️ Nana's Motivation

My motivation for learning how to code consists of to points: 1. As a mother of a small baby I want to provide him and to my family a good life. Including my parents. 2. I want to improve my job skills. I have already worked as UI/UX designer before maternity leave and I want to deepen my knowledge in development of the websites and applications.

🤹‍♀️ Nana's Hobbies

I love to draw and photography. Actually I’m so in love in photography that volunteered for a few years at the Odesa Photo Days Festival.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
