Nataliia's Story In 2021, but the course to the JavaScript in my hometown included to much math stuff I couldn't understand, cause I didn't have that much knowledge in university level math. So, I guessed I'm too stupid for this, and forgot about that idea. Why I was Interested - can't remember, but the idea to working from home and have an interesting job is really tempting

🙋‍♀️ Nataliia's Motivation

Since I moved from Donetsk, where I lived for 8 years before full-size invasion, I can't find any chances to get a job that paying well. And because I doesn't have any resources to get a good education (not just money, to get high education diploma I need much more time and work, cause technically I didn't finish school because of the war in 2014 in my region), i'm trying to find solutions here. And it seems that coding is great idea, cause it's both useful and interesting (and I really hate doing something that I'm not interesting in)

🤹‍♀️ Nataliia's Hobbies

My interests is photography, writing and TTRPGs. Also sometimes tactical videogames.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
