My biggest motivation comes from today's rapidly evolving digital landscape. Where the acquisition of coding skills has become increasingly valuable and sought-after in most companies. With a bachelor's degree in Business Management and IT, I possess a solid foundation in technology and business. However, I recognize that coding skills can significantly enhance my career prospects in today's job market. The demand for professionals with coding expertise is growing across various industries, including software development, data analysis, web design, and artificial intelligence. By acquiring coding skills, I can align myself with these emerging career paths, positioning myself as a valuable asset. Also my entrepreneurial aspirations motivate me since I aspire to create my own tech startup or online business. Understanding that technology is often the backbone of innovative ventures, I recognizes the importance of having coding skills to turn my ideas into reality. My other motivation comes from the idea of being able to solve problems with coding abilities.

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
