Phiwokuhle's Story Back in university I took a 6 month first year computer class and not only was I good at it (passed with a distinction:) ) but I genuinely enjoyed it. I studied geology, loved it in the beginning but the time I graduated I realized 'what a waste of my time. With all the reviews I've seen I am convinced the universe is giving me a second chance to do something I love. I am convinced with SheCodes I could unlock my potential to the max and enjoy every step of the way doing it.
Well for starters I love the name. SheCodes. It's giving innovative and beating the gender gap in the tech industry. Coming from a small town, Paulpietersburg, I was never exposed to such careers but after watching videos that I can be a web developer or software engineering without returning to university, I just had to find the best fit for me. That's when I came across SheCodes. I've read the success stories and I just know that it would be so much cool if mine were to be read one day. I love the flexibility that comes with this environment. I can still work while learning. Perfect combo really.
I love the beach, you'll find me there almost every other day. I enjoy spending time with my friends finding the hidden gems in Durban. I love Korea, the country, music and their shows so you can also find me trying to improve my Korean(that reminds I have to finish my streak on Duolingo) or vibing to Kpop music. I a terrible cook and an average baker. I like painting and coloring in. I like going out, for bike rides by the beach or to the club. Anything I'm down.
