Siphiwe 's Story I want to gain and improve my analytical skills. From my undergraduate study of Human Sciences and Community Services, my passion is to design human support programs knowing my country suffers chronically with poverty; women and youth unemployment which I have been a victim of, it is my desire to join shecodes and be a part of a team to make it a better place for living.

🙋‍♀️ Siphiwe 's Motivation

I have a BSc in Human Sciences and Community Services from 2018 and I have not been able to get employed or start a business. I have done internships and volunteered to gain experience in the hope of getting a job but to no avail, as such joined an intensive 8 weeks virtual assistant program which I have completed and I am joining the industry as general administrative virtual assistant but my career goal is to specialize in anything from digital marketing to analytics to tech-related work because the world is advancing every day.

🤹‍♀️ Siphiwe 's Hobbies

I love travelling with friends to chill and to appreciate nature and beauty of human creations, playing board games; monopoly, solitaire, chess. Swimming/ being in water. I love a good read mostly on personal development and singing.

SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
