Thandekile 's Story There are several reasons why I am interested in coding. Firstly, coding is a valuable and in-demand skill that can open up numerous career opportunities. As technology continues to evolve and become more integral to all aspects of life, the need for individuals who can code will only continue to grow. Secondly, coding offers endless opportunities for creativity and problem-solving. The ability to build websites or develop apps from scratch and see them come to life is extremely satisfying. It allows me to use my imagination and create something that is truly unique. Additionally, the tech industry is constantly changing and evolving, meaning there is always something new to learn and discover. This makes coding an exciting and ever-evolving field that can keep me engaged and motivated. Overall, coding provides opportunities for personal and professional growth, the chance to exercise creativity and problem-solving skills, as well as a pathway to a rewarding and in-demand career. This is what has made me interested in coding and motivates me to continue learning and improving my skills.

As a woman, there are several reasons why I would like to learn to code. Firstly, technology is becoming increasingly important in aspects of life, and coding is a valuable skill that will enable me to participate in the digital world. As more companies and industries integrate technology into their operations, the ability to code will become crucial for employment opportunities. Secondly, as a member of a group that is not well-represented in the tech industry, learning to code can help me to contribute to increasing representation in this field. Women are still underrepresented in STEM fields, and by learning to code, I can help to change that. Moreover, coding offers endless opportunities for creativity and problem-solving, and it can be a fulfilling career or hobby. I believe that learning to code can help me to develop skills and knowledge that will benefit me personally and professionally. In summary, learning to code as a woman is a valuable and empowering skill that can provide numerous opportunities and give me the chance to contribute to making the tech industry more inclusive and diverse.

I am passionate about debating, reading and coaching kids to debate. Volunteering in poor communities is something that I enjoy doing as well. I believe that education is the key to success and I strive to give back to communities in need.
