Tshegofatso 's Story Funny how one day I had a reality check and decided I wanted more in life something new and challenging because I’ve been in aviation for 8 year , I did my research on the IT world but never had the confidence because I knew nothing about it but the more I checked videos and people in the field the more I wanted to know and be in the world of coding and more , coding is a fascinating and creative field that allows you to bring ideas to life through programming languages, there are always new things to learn and explore in the world of coding. From building websites and apps to solving complex problems and creating innovative solutions, coding offers endless possibilities for creativity and problem-solving. All thanks to that one night I visited my friend I knew I had to invest in this path

The moment I was told to check SheCode I was blown away by the response from many women all over the world and seeing how this company has changed a lot of women’s life out there by joining She Code I know I have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals striving towards a common goal and empowering women in Tech and also mastering a new skill, but also breaking barriers, challenging stereotypes, and making a positive impact to everyone that is embarking on this journey and it would be an honour to be under this foundation to start my journey in Tech.

What brings me joy and fulfilment is adventure, I love travelling and trying new things ,I love formula one , I’m a fitness bunny love hikes and cross country . I also enjoy reading and trying new restaurants with friends and family because I’m a foodie , currently learning to play tennis and really enjoying it but being one with nature takes the cup.

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.
