Verônica Adriana's Story Two years ago I have discovered that I have endometriosis, and i could not longer work where I was living on - wich was a fisherman's village in the extreme south of Bahia's state. The population is 8 thousand people. And still, the vulnerability of women there is so, soooo sad... But than I realiza that i needed to be able to work from anywhere in the world. I have seen some tourists in my village working with Coding and Tech so I started to look for more info about it, and then i had a trial on a website to program a flower and i absolutely loved it! I am from a big city but i live in a small city now. I was working with tourism and I was a waitress, so I really want to change my perspectives about my future.

I have learned that knlowledge is power, also, in the right hands, you can change the environment you are in. As a brazilian woman, I want to change my reality and by doing that, I know that I will be capable of helping more women around me. Only by saying that i want to become a coding woman, a lot of my friends suddenly had an interest in that too. And the future is with technology, wether we like it or not, so let's use it to do some good around! Also I truly believe that it would be more important for my future to truly dive in this world. It would transform my chances of getting a proper job and to finaly relax about having enough to survive and stop living from paycheck to paycheck.

I really enjoy playing altinha, wich is keep up in english translation, but mostly you have to keep the ball up so it doesnt touch the floor, but you can't use your hands. I love to dance, read, swim and being around whats going on in the world. One fo the reasons that I want to learn how to Code is exactly to develop this other side of my brain and use my skills to provide a better future for myself.
