Vuyile's Story Coding became more than just a hobby; it became my passion. Through coding, I discovered the power of technology to bring about change and make a positive impact on the world. I had found myself fascinated by the endless possibilities of the digital world. My curiosity was piqued as I explored various apps and websites, marveling at the way they functioned and helped people navigate a virtual world. With each line of code I learned, I felt a sense of empowerment and excitement. So coding became a creative outlet, allowing me to bring my ideas to life in ways I had never imagined.

Growing up, I was keenly aware of the lack of representation of people who looked like me in the tech world nevertheless people , women who work in the tech world. Shecodes provides an equal standing point for all women across the world and which motivates me that coding can be done by women in all walks of life ,for which it opens doors to new careers which can help other women and be empowered to take the challenge , so was I empowered to take a chance and apply to increase my skill set

I find solace in immersing myself in the pages of a good book, where I can lose myself in worlds both familiar and fantastical. When I'm not reading, I enjoy delving into the world of music, whether it's basking in gospel music or discovering new artists. I am passionate about fostering meaningful connections with others, engaging in thought-provoking conversations, and continuously seeking out opportunities for personal growth and self-discovery

Women currently hold 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. In most developing countries, more than 65% of women don't have bank accounts and cannot afford to invest in their education. Female refugees also don’t have many opportunities to invest in their education and improve their career horizon - they often work in unskilled, undervalued, and low-paid informal sectors.

SheCodes is here to help provide women in developing countries and women who are refugees with the opportunity to learn how to code for free. SheCodes offers a solid introduction to product development, product design and product management.
