Yensy's Story I was interested in programming, because looking for work on the internet there was always a constant, programmer or web development, at first I didn't know what it meant but when I saw so many offers I started to investigate on YouTube, so I learned what it is to create computer programs and It works for all industries, however I decided to learn and check where I could learn, the difficult thing is that it is very expensive and I couldn't afford it, but I started learning on YouTube, there was where they exposed shecodes so I decided to try and apply
I am an indigenous Zenu woman, I had to leave my community in search of a better future, when I arrived in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia, my race and my beliefs made it very difficult for me to get a job that would dignify my life and that of my family. Therefore, when I saw the multitude of programming offers on Facebook and the Internet, I set out to see what it was, and I realized that I could learn it and it was a relatively short career, so I checked courses but the costs prevented me, when I saw this opportunity I decided arm myself with courage and apply, I want to learn and improve my life, I think that by joining the program I will also teach the women of my community so that they can also dignify their lives, being indigenous is not an impediment, it is a blessing because we honor the mother earth and she offers us everything to live and this opportunity is a sample of her magnificence, thank you very much.
For fun, I like to play sports. I am a national champion in athletics in multiple events. This is because my community runs a lot to do their daily activities and when I compete, I can have fun.
