Ndifreke 's Story I've always wanted to learn coding but has been short on funds but then I saw an opportunity for women to learn coding on Facebook group Portfolio9 and its a great opportunity for me. I've learned that not only does coding make you a better problem solver but it also teaches you patience, perseverance, and discipline. Coding pushes you outside of your comfort zone in a good way.

🙋‍♀️ Ndifreke 's Motivation

My love and passion for coding is my motivating factor. I wanted to know how computers worked, I wanted to understand the magic. I want to create and instruct on what to act in the ways that I deemed fit. I want to be able to come up with an idea, and shape that idea into something real. I enjoy the mental challenge of making things. It’s frustrating, but if you have an end goal in mind, and have the persistence to see it through then you can get past the frustration and enjoy the win of seeing your idea come into fruition. I want to learn how to code because i want to invent something that will be useful to the world in the near future.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
