Anastasiia's Story I am studying Applied Math at my university, so I know the basics of coding. When I face some monotonous tasks, I try to come up with some algorithms to automatize the process and save time. Coding is a great skill and such an easy language as Python can make my life more interesting.

🙋‍♀️ Anastasiia's Motivation

I want to prove that women are great in STEM as well, I want to study without gender pressure and with support from female society. Right now I need finances to support my family from Ukraine who lost their jobs because of the war, and coding jobs are high paying.

🤹‍♀️ Anastasiia's Hobbies

I was a volunteer at the dog shelter in Ukraine, I was obsessed with walking dogs, it brought a huge pleasure for dogs and for me as well. Now I am escaping from the war in Ukraine to Canada, the process is still going, but I want to join volunteers in a dog shelter in Calgary. Also, I like art history, taking part in hackathons, and meeting new people.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
