Olha's Story I became interested in programming about 5 years ago. Many of my acquaintances at that time were already taking the first steps in this area. I've always been good at math at school, so I decided to give it a try. My first language I started learning on my own was Javaб, but at that time it seemed too difficult for me.

🙋‍♀️ Olha's Motivation

My main motivation now is to gain solid knowledge and expand my career opportunities. For the last 5 months I have been teaching Python on my own and realized that this is what I like - to develop analytical skills, look for different approaches to solving a problem, learn something new every day and have a huge community that will always help.

🤹‍♀️ Olha's Hobbies

I like going to the mountains for short one-day and weekly hikes. I also have experience in rafting on the river. I prefer an interesting book and a warm blanket in the cold season. My hobbies also include learning foreign languages

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
