FARZANEH's Story Coding is like magic. You write down some words and give some orders and then it becomes real. I thought that computer engineers are the only people who can write codes and design programs. But I realized that I was wrong! every one can do that. It doesn't matter what your field of study is, every major is dependent on coding and those who know how to do it have the best shots on their work life. So I decided to peruse my interest and learn how to code through different sources, but I was not easy for me. furthermore, free sources are not much available in my country.

🙋‍♀️ FARZANEH's Motivation

Since I can remember, I was fascinated by computers, websites and all the things that were related to new technologies. I've always wanted to learn how these things work! how everything is available by just one click! but as a young girl with no one to guide me I went through a wrong route and studied mechanical engineering at university. throughout these years I've tried different ways of learning related subjects to coding. I know that everything now is dependent to the realm of codes! I am really enthusiastic to learn how to code! how to make everything possible by writing codes. in my opinion those people know how to code are have creative minds and I thing I have the same ability but I need to learn it. With such a great opportunity to learn how to code there would be several jobs for women like me. It is not always easy to compete with men for being employed, especially in my country unless you have something especial and for me this especial ability would be coding. I saw the Shecodes advertisement on YouTube and enrolled in one of the free sessions. I loved the way the tutor explained everything and I really hope to gain the chance to enroll in the full course.

🤹‍♀️ FARZANEH's Hobbies

I watch movies and listen to instrumental music to chill. I also enjoy reading books and novels. I am an athlete and I love rock climbing. I have ranked first on provincial rock climbing tournaments.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
