Iryna's Story Technologies have always fascinated me. And I've always liked the idea that a person can teach a machine do some actions that can make their work easier and quicker. And I've always wanted to try but I was lowkey scared and didn't know where to start

🙋‍♀️ Iryna's Motivation

First of all, with coding skills I could get a better job and become financially independent and help my family. Secondly, I'm interested in programming as I want to work in that field. It's interesting to me.

🤹‍♀️ Iryna's Hobbies

Before war I had quite a busy life. I studied, hang out with friends, spent time with my family and played with my dog. I became AIESECer and really liked this organisation. I tried to always try something new- was it learn how to solve the Rubik's Cube or do splits. When the war started, and we were forced to leave Ukraine the situation changed. The University continued online. And I'm still an AIESECer. However my free time I usually spend volunteering. Being a refugee myself, I understand how gard it can be to leave your home and don't see your family and friends

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
