Chinelo 's Story Observing and following Whispering Hope for Africa Initiative (WHAI), an NGO in my locality that teaches young people about coding. I am glad that SheCodes is for women to help us. Portfolio 9 group page on Facebook listed coding as part of the skills required in this century. I have minded my children when they did Coding Demo Lessons from tutors in India, so wished I will have money to enroll them and myself.

I wish to be knowledgeable in the tech skills that is trending to improve my job skills as well as work efficiently and effectively. The acquisition will help me be gainfully employed as the standard of living in my family will improve. I will also teach other children in my school to improve their lives.

I Reading interesting articles about life, the Bible and other Christian Scriptures. Writing. Gardening and farming. Listening to music with good meaning and cultural folktales.

Chinelo 's coding training

Chinelo has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
