Alona's Story He was forced to move out of the house and had to leave his job. There was a question about the need to obtain a new profession that would be relevant in our time, but did not have a clear attachment to the location. Because, unfortunately, you are already afraid to believe in stability, and peace that everything will be fine, and you can try to assimilate somewhere. Therefore, the option of such work in the future seems a great solution, and coding has been interesting since school, because it was then that the first lessons of acquaintance with the PC were the first attempts at coding.

🙋‍♀️ Alona's Motivation

good afternoon, before the war there was very little free time, because there was a stable job, and no free time. The topic of coding has always been interesting to me, and there was a desire to try myself in this field, unfortunately there was a lack of time. At the moment, as I was forced to leave my home and work, and having access to the Internet, I believe that the best time to start and try yourself in this field will not be. Thank you very much for such a wonderful opportunity.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
