Valeriia's Story When I was in school I wanted to study cybersecurity in university, but my math wasn't good enough for it. After my one year in economics university(which was incredible boring for me) I was learning math and applied for a computer science specialty and now I'm third year student there;)

🙋‍♀️ Valeriia's Motivation

I am seeking to learn new information and have hands on experience after so that I can provide a better life for my family as long as they are on me financially. SheCodes because they provide this incredible opportunity at this hard time for me and my country. Thank you for this!

🤹‍♀️ Valeriia's Hobbies

Before the war has started I used to go to gym three times a week and taking yoga classes two times a week, also I adore watching netflix because it's a good way to learn English. Now I'm not doing it anymore because I don't have enough power for this (if you know what I mean) . My life has changed and I need to change as well, so your courses is a good start for me and my new life

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
