Kodeye's Story I first became interested in coding as a teacher when I learned that coding is a new type of literacy that empowers children with problem solving skills which will also turn out to be a large part of future jobs . Also I learned that in any business department , from accounts to sales to procurement to front desk office, technology comes in handy, so knowing how technology works to power the various operations in my business will put me a step ahead of the rest .

My motivation for learning how to code with shecodes: Based on my research I found out that shecodes provides women in developing countries with the opportunity to learn how to code for free . I was also motivated by learning that coding is a very valuable skill in the use of technology in this digital world and it's relevant in our everyday lives . I would love to acquire the skill in other to become more valuable in my entrepreneural and teaching career. Should entrepreneurship or teaching not work out for me , I think coding can also provide a career for me to fall back on .

Kodeye's coding training

Kodeye has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
